How the score is generated
The score is generated by rule. It is not random and not a live prediction. It builds on two points:
- The sign’s reference fortune for the day, from the site’s built in daily fortune module
- Your year pillar element, which nudges the score slightly so two people with the same sign but different years get slightly different results
For example, both are Rats, but 1996 Bing Zi Fire Rat and 1972 Ren Zi Water Rat have different year elements, so their three scores on the same day differ a bit. The report first computes your year pillar from the birth year, then layers the daily base fortune to produce the final numbers.
