How to Use the Free Zodiac Report: A Share to Unlock Guide
We recently launched a free zodiac report tool on the site. It costs nothing and needs no sign up. Enter your birth year and it generates a report built around your Chinese zodiac sign.
This guide explains what it is, how to use it, and how the share to unlock step works.
What the report gives you
Unlike the usual twelve animal forecasts, this report first converts your birth year into the heavenly stem and earthly branch (the sixty year cycle, or ganzhi). Two people born in the Year of the Rat are not identical: 1996 is Bing Zi, Fire Rat, while 1972 is Ren Zi, Water Rat. The result reflects that difference.
The report has two parts:
- Free part: your zodiac sign, element, core traits, today’s fortune scores, and your year pillar
- Unlocked part: the year’s relationship readings (birth year sign, Tai Sui clash, three harmonies allies), the month by month yearly outlook, best matches, and personal suggestions
How to use it
The steps are simple:
- Open the free zodiac report page
- Enter your birth year (Gregorian calendar)
- Tap generate, and your year pillar appears right away
The year pillar shows the heavenly stem, earthly branch, the element of the year pillar, and the animal name. Enter 1996 and it shows “Bing Zi, Fire Rat”.
What the free part includes
The free part already answers a few common questions:
- Which animal and stem branch year you were born in
- Your elemental attribute
- Your core personality traits
- Today’s love, career, and wealth scores
- Your year pillar (stem, branch, and pillar element)
Anyone can read this without doing anything else.
How to unlock the rest
The full yearly report sits in the locked area. There is one way to open it: share the report to any social platform, or copy the page link.
The steps:
- Tap “Share to unlock” in the locked area
- Pick WeChat, Weibo, QQ, Xiaohongshu, X, or just copy the link
- After the share action, the locked area opens on its own
The unlock state is stored in your local browser, so the same device shows it as unlocked on the next visit without sharing again.
Why it is free
Some paid zodiac reports on the market run from tens to over a hundred dollars, selling finer grained Ba Zi readings. Our report runs entirely in the browser with no server cost, so we made it free.

How deep does it go
One boundary needs stating clearly. The report is built on your birth year. It can give the year pillar, element, birth year sign and Tai Sui clash checks, and the three harmonies relation. These are year pillar level details.
A real Ba Zi needs your birth month, day, hour, and place. The year pillar is only one of four. If you want the complete four pillars, this free report cannot do it. Its scope is a quick year level reading.
